Designed for durability and ease of use, the Flight Gear Pull-Down Tie-Down Kit has gained traction among pilots and flight schools alike. Its intuitive pull-down mechanism ensures proper tension, reducing the risk of aircraft movement during strong winds. Simply attach one of the coated hooks to the aircraft and the other hook to the tie-down anchor point. Then, with very little effort, pull the rope through the automatic ratcheting system to secure the aircraft. When you are ready to fly, use the quick-release trigger on the ratcheting mechanism to release the ropes. It is that simple and quick, with no complicated knots or manual ratcheting required.
The included ropes come in high-visibility orange, ensuring easy identification of your aircraft and providing added safety when moving around the tie-down area. A special reflective material is interwoven with the rope to make it highly reflective when illuminated with any light.
Designed to accommodate both high- and low-wing aircraft, the Flight Gear Pull-Down Tie-Down Kit includes two ropes, measuring ten feet each, and one rope, measuring six feet, for the aircraft tail. All ropes are 3/8" diameter, providing ample strength for a secure hold, even in gusty conditions.
